Setting up a New Business

There are many structures which can be used for business.

The system to be used will be dependant on several factors:

  • The types of products and services you provide.
  • Whether you will be using automated (computers) or manual processes.
  • Familiarity of bookkeeping programs.
  • Number of transactions per month.
  • Whether you are registered for GST.

All these factors will be discussed, with recommendations and options.

Computerised recording system.

There are many ways to record information.
The programs we have found to be popular and user friendly are as follows:

  • Excel
  • MYOB
  • Quickbooks

We will set up the ledger to suit your business and provide the training required to record your business transactions, with ongoing support where necessary.

As your Tax Agent we will:

  • Complete monthly/quarterly IAS/BAS forms (where applicable)
  • Prepare your personal/business/taxation return(s)
  • Lodgement of your personal/business/taxation return(s)
  • Lodge statutory forms (where applicable)
  • Attend to general administrative matters in relation to GST.
  • Collect, classify & summarise the financial information
    (profit & loss report and balance sheet).

Professional Fees Quote:

All professional fees for the services provided will be quoted (where possible) prior to the preparation of the reports you have requested our office to attend to. Charges will vary depending on the complexity and nature of the work undertaken, and time frame required to complete it.
